Overall the food was delicious. Ordered the oxtails and the curry goat to go. Both dishes were delicious and served hot, even made it all the way home to enjoy. My only complaint was the plantains, they were overdone. Despite this I would still come back.

Their jerk wings are the next best thing to jerk chicken in BK. It's very dark in color, but full of flavor & well seasoned. I'm a sauce person & I didn't need it. The wings might not be appealing to most people because it looks "burnt" but I love it that way & it feels good not having to ask for it to be well done. Also, customer service is 10/10, no attitude or feeling like they're doing you a favor! Keep up the great work Mama Shers!

This a hidden gem. No really, if you're not actively looking for it, you may drive past it. HELL, even if you are looking for it, you may drive past it. Nonetheless, the few times I've been there, it has not disappointed. I'm pretty basic. I get the curry chicken & roti. Great flavor!!

Haven't had Jamaican food in awhile! Might be 10 years lol but since I've tried Mama Shers, I fell in love with it all over again! This is a cute little spot with limited seatings. They have a full menu with all of the best Jamaican dishes! My friend suggested the chicken stew and it did not disappoint! I loved every bite of it, it was just so flavorful. Everyone there were super kind, from the guy who took our order over the phone, to the guy making smoothies and to the lady who made sure everyone there was getting helped. I def wanna come back to try the curry goat and perhaps the oxtail!

I was in the mood for curry shrimp and decided to try this location. I called in my order of the curry shrimp with rice and peas and cabbage. They said it would take 45 minutes because it is made to order. When I arrived I found parking on the street and walked in. The nice man came out and the food wasn't ready yet. I waited another 20 minutes or so. When it was done I paid about $19 for the small and left. When I got home I dug in and the food was very good. There was plenty of food as well. The experience I had was good and I would return.

If you're in the mood for a good Jamaican food spot, this is the place to go! I got the medium serving size of oxtails, rice and plantains. You know it's going to be good when the oxtails just slide off the bone. When you mix the meat with the rice and plantains, oh my goodness, don't hesitate, just get yourself here and try it. Yes, add the cabbage as well.
